Cruel To Be Kind

Dancing Queen, that song was written by ABBA as a wedding gift for Queen Sylvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf .... Maybe you already knew or maybe you didn't...

Did you notice the size of the porkchops in the previous post ? And yes, there was a picture of macroons (my first try) as well as two different kinds of chocolate cupcakes. And lastly also a picture of some meat mix (meat and bacon).

I really do feel like being an adoptee means that I'm at least Cruel To Be Kind... Like you appreciate life's all different emotitions and shades. Living a contradicting, dispice the very thing that maybe not made what you are but contributed a great deal...

And squanting isn't just a Korean thing, it's not like they have license to squant, fact is Russian's also prefer squanting. I've heard. I also assume that more people prefer squanting not just Koreans and the Slavic people.

Today Swedish royalist have reason to celebrate since our King Karl XIV Gustav celebrates his 65th birthday, and for Spring lovers and Japanese people, which also have reason to celebrate the first day of Cherry Blossoms.

Last Day Of April means that tomorrow is Walpurgis Night...

Cake Pops

Can you really be sure if something is safe ? I don't believe that anything would be 100 % that's picture perfect, to good to be true. Is the facebook scam a romour or actually true?

What do you get if you you mix cake with a popsickle/lollipop ? Find the answer here.
Correct answer : a cake pop.

What's a cake pop then ? Well it's cookie dough on a stick that is glaced with frosting, melted chocolate or whatever sweet.

If liqourice is the new it then what about cake pops with liquorice taste ...?

Here's how to make 'em and by the way the pictures in this post isn't of cake pops it's everything else.

Time To Sneeze

I do love summer but I'd pefer it even more if I could avoid the annual Hay fever. That's why I prefer winter the most. Which season do you like?

Sometimes Ido feel like I do carry the world on my shoulders... Yeah my birth parents were unable to care for me or otherwise prevented top do so. I know that. But some days I feel my adoptiv parents did something cruel by taking my from my birth country more than my birth parents. I'm legally not theirs anymore, I can't and shouldn't go around thinking what if. Because what if never materialized.

Biologically I'm theirs of course, and I really hope I've found the right birth parents. Will my doubt ever disapear I wonder. I do hope so, I really do but who knows maybe I'll always be less 2 % uncertain...
My legal family has tried their best believe me, they have. Most of the days I get along with them but I just wish there was a way that I could honour my birth family while still not disrespecting or threatening my legal (adoptive) family.

Maybe, I should try to bend over backwards to try to please everyone, maybe I should stop trying and instead focus on the now. The things I have. Basically taking a child from their birth culture and family some days feels like a to big a burden to carry. If that's adoption in a nutshell than I've lost my trust in humanity at least partially. And I do know many sunshine stories, but personally I am only aware of the things I gained access to and I basically have no knowledge of my supposed what if life.

Now, I'm a proud owner of one of those smart phones, and it's a Samsung...

And no I'm not a coward for not wanting to publish pictures in my blog and more importantly to blog under a nickname. If you've followed my blog once in a while you would know why... And I personally don't feel like it's up to me to publish pictures of my birth family because.. I'm afraid that would hurt them and me as well. Yesterday there was an article about a Swedish woman who had gotten her facebook account hacked, and the attacker supposedly also read her blog and claimed ownership of pictures from that blog and is supposed to have been trying to portray that woman. Living this woman's life, as she would have done it.

That's another argument not publish pictures, blog with alias and to not have a facebook account... If it actually is true...

Great Leader Dear Leader by Lintner B

Geran Changsik (Korean egg dishes)
Dalgyal Changjorim (Korean egg dishes)

sounds kind of tempting, but I don't have a clue of what kind of dishes they are let alone how to spell and prounance it in Korean. Have you eaten both or one of those Korean dishes ? Do you know what kind of dishes they are?

Great Leader, Dear Leader is a really interesting book about North Korea by Lintner B.

Why Korea

One thing I personally still struggles to understand is why Korean babies and Korean adoption still is so popular (if you excuze the phrasing). I am aware of the inital reason and I think I might understand why but still... There's so much I can't understand...

I must confess that I personally have days when my motivation for life is next to zero. Days when I feel like doing absolutely nothing else than watching TV. Like nothing else mattered.

Today it's Easter Sunday...

Korean Technology

Today it's Holy Saturday!

What do you prefer LG or Samsung? Or neither, maybe Nokia, Doro or Sony Ericsson or one of those HTC's? As far as I know only LG and Samsung are Korean, (when it comes to mobile phones) at least..

And yes they also make cars like Hyundai, which is Korean.

Big Feet

Holy Friday, not so many days left before Easter Evening.

This post will be one my moore personal posts and it's not about the movie with the same title...

I never thought that it was peculiar or odd for a Korean born person to have big feet, (my feet are 7 1/2 or 8) it depends. Since I knew a few Koreans with the similar size (in shoes) i was quite surprised when I realized that most Koreans born in the 80s or earlier have relatively small feet...

I guess I'm not one of them and I have no problem finding nice shoes...

Easter Celebrations

(Holy) Maundy Thursday... I wonder which countries actually celebrates Easter ( with eggs, egg hunting and Ester bunny)... Swedes consumes a large quantity of candy just for that particular weekend. Good thing we have dental care.

The famous Lemon  meringue pie, sort of.
