In this blog you may get a sense of what it means to be Korean or maybe a percieved illusion. But also a sense of what it means to be not only adopted but reunited as well. Sometimes I write about Sweden where I grew up and also about cooking and baking - because I enjoy it! Also take note that all pictures here belong to me unless stated otherwise. Respect the copyright please.
Please don't get the wrong idea about the message of this song, I love my first family tremendously. I think about them every day, sometimes even several times a day. The song might be chessy but how else can I express my devotion and love for my first family ..?
I don't need to find a mate to become happy, happiness is in your head. And too be honest I'm more than satsified with the people that I still have in my life. They represent my past and also my present, and they are equally inmportant too me. I have soo many siblings that I'm not sure if I honestly would like to take a chance of love "just because it's something everyone's supposed to do. Especially so if you're in your 20s and a female. But I don't see anything wrong in living life as an independent single woman, far from it in fact.
This song seems to be very positive and I guess I certainly could use some cheerful joy and laughter.
And besides being a KAD, and reunited adoptee I have many other interests as well. I did enjoy baking quite a lot until recently, I recently swithed the baking to regula exercising instead. I love reading and books, but I only read novels in English (not Swedish) although Swedish is my mother tongue. I love listen to music as well, and if I'm inspired I might create a painting or embrodery or even write some poetry. Oh, and I like cats but my cat is crazy, he has a broken tail and tends to bite and scratch a lot.
Quit Playing Games With My Heart - Backstreet Boys
As an adoptee I really feel like this song is spot on, summarizes how it can feel to love somebody who never really was yours to start with - speaking of my birth family.
I can't help but to think of my Unnis when I here this song. 언니학이는 사랑해요 !
I almost made a big mistake, it could have been worse... I let someone persuade me to do something I never intended to in the first place... But more then anything else I'm angry and disappointed in myself, why I'd let myself be persuaded so easily..
A stone has shifted from my chest , last week Missing or Spårlöst in Swedish begun airing again but I didn't feel at least tempted to watch it. That's progress and I feel more secure, calm and light hearted now.
I know it's a pretty old song from 2006 from the drama My Girl (but I still like it not just for the actors but for the meaning and message of the song.) Sometimes when words isn't enough I think it's better to let the music sing and say it with song...
Oh, and it's only a month left before Christmas Eve and Christmas presents (in Sweden we open them on the 24st).
